Editorial policy
Clever Current Review aims to make digital subjects understandable without making them sound simpler than they are. We distinguish explanation from endorsement and make the limits of a claim visible.
Accuracy and clarity
We check factual statements against suitable information available for the subject and use clear wording to distinguish established functions from interpretation. Product features can change, so time-sensitive details should be identified as such. When a point depends on a particular version, platform or setting, we state that limitation where relevant.
Independence
Editorial choices are made for reader relevance and clarity. A product mention is not a recommendation or an endorsement, and commercial relationships do not determine our conclusions. We do not claim testing, access or expertise that a piece does not have.
Corrections
Readers can report a suspected error through the Contact page. We review specific, verifiable concerns and correct material errors when warranted. When a correction changes the meaning of a published piece, we aim to make the change and its significance clear.
Partner material and illustrations
Sponsored or partner material is labelled so readers can distinguish it from independent editorial work. A partnership label does not mean that editorial coverage is guaranteed. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; when used, they are treated as illustrations rather than evidence of a real product, person or event.
A tool is easier to choose when you can read it.
We explain digital choices in plain language, separating what a feature does from what its name suggests. The aim is understanding, not a sales pitch.
